Doctor Glass pre cut Race Seat Foams are the easy and simple solution to padding up your race tail. Forget buying expensive pieces of foam then cutting to shape and gluing, our pre cut self adhesive seat foams take all the work out of making a seat for your race tail and leave you with a good looking, simple and functional seat that takes only minutes to fit.
Our pre cut seat foams are all cut to the same generic shape which comfortably fits most makes and models, however some minor shaping may be necessary for some models. Any holes for tail mount bolts must also be drilled in the seat foam. Also, applying a some heat with a heat gun or hair dryer to the race tail and the glue on the foam is required to activate the glue for proper adhesion.
Please note: The self adhesive layer on our seat foams is heat activated and may not remain sticky under excessively hot conditions. If you intend on using our seat foam on a bike that has an under tail exhaust that causes excessive heat, we advise removing the adhesive layer by simply peeling away from the foam and gluing the seat foam on using a contact adhesive such as Bostik Contact Bond that will not be effected by the heat of the exhaust.
Please note: All our seat foams are cut to the same generic shape (pictured right). This shape will fit most models, however some models may require trimming to fit correctly.
